New Dye Sub Printers from GO: Mutoh VJ 1638W HD PRO and Mutoh VJ 1624W HD PRO

Based on the Mutoh ValueJet 1624W and 1638W Dye Sub Printers, GO is pleased to announce a professional upgrade to these units which is only available through the GO and its partners. The new Mutoh ValueJet 1624W and 1638W units are now upgraded to HD PRO versions. The VJ 1624W HD PRO and VJ 1638W HD PRO feature a professional heavy duty media handling system along with an industrial version of Wasatch SoftRIP and GO's NeoTack Dye Sub Ink. This bundle rounds out the complete solution for a professional  heavy duty offering.

What's included with the VJ 1624W and VJ1638W? The standard printers are upgraded to include the heavy duty media handling system which allows rolls of substrates weighing up to 175 pounds to be used with the printer. The HD (Heavy Duty) media handling system also offers constant media tension to control headstrikes and media correction for straighter printing.

When used with GO's NeoTack Dye Sub Ink, the ValueJet 1624W, even though it is a four color unit, can print neon colors. The four color configuration is Cyan, Magenta, Neon Yellow and Super Black. Having neon yellow in the ink mix allows many composite neon colors. When used with the ValueJet 1638W, the user has an option to use our traditional CMYK mix along with Neon Yellow, Neon Red and Neon Blue. This allows a user to image thousands of neon dye sub colors with a complete array of standard colors. The combination of the VJ 1624W and VJ 1638W with GO's NeoTack dye sub ink make a powerful combination for professional users.

An overview of the ValueJet 1638W is as follows:

  • 64-inch 8-Color Ultra Fast Dye Sub Printer with Integrated Heavy Duty Media Handling Take-Up System

GO Ships New Heat Press: GO Metalnox EL 600

GO Metalnox EL 600 Heat Press
During our recent training session an announcement was made regarding GO migrating over to our new GO Metalnox EL 600 16"x20" heat press.

As most are aware, using a heat press for dye sublimation is much less demanding than using a heat press for transfers. The reason for this is that dye sublimation is using heat, not as much pressure for imaging to the garment. Conversely when doing a transfer it is imperative that the heat press have high consistent pressure and high consistent and accurate heat. If the heat press does not have these capabilities then a user will have issues producing good transfers.

The new GO Metalnox EL 600 accomplishes both consistent and high pressure and consistent heat throughout the entire platen. Listing for $1,595, the EL 600 is now our standard heat press for imaging transfers. An overview is as follows:

• 16” x 20” Swing Away Manual Heat Press
• Force Multiplier Pressure System for Consistent High Pressure Over Entire Platen
• Wide Open Platen with Swing Top for Convenience and Ease of Use
• Machine Cast Aluminum Frame with High Pressure Capability Provides Uniform Pressure
• Fully Digital Temperature and Time Control
• Double Teflon Covered Plates
• Interchangeable Platens Available
• Manufactured in the Americas
